Æ Alexis M. Bedos

Mr. Bedos is co-founder, director, and a key principal of the recently launched Yalta Capital Management Ltd. He was formerly director of Momentum Energy International Inc., a junior Canadian energy Company operating in Ukraine, Director of Edge Capital Access, a California based venture capital investment boutique, Director of Vabank, a Ukrainian commercial bank, Director of Orlan, a large Ukrainian soft drink manufacturer, Director of Ladenburg Thalmann Ukraine Securities and Ladenburg Thalmann Russia Securities and a Director as well as a member of the investment committee of  $90 million private equity fund dedicated to the Ukraine - the Ukraine Fund Ltd.

He has led the creation, capital raising and management of the Ukraine Fund Limited, a private equity fund.  Previously he developed the LT Asia Opportunity Fund in cooperation with one of the largest Korean financial group,; the Poland Investment Fund with Advent International which included the EBRD, IFC and Lombard Odier & Cie as lead investors; created the KP Consortium, a joint venture management company with KPMG, Bank Handlowy and Paine Webber to manage a Polish National Investment Fund; raised and managed the Emerging Eastern Europe Fund the second private equity fund for Central and Eastern Europe launched in 1993.

Mr. Bedos holds an MBA from Columbia University and a degree in nuclear physics from a French Grande Ecole. He is a NASDAQ principal and holds securities licenses Series 7, 63, 39 and 24.
 

Æ Elias Azrak

Mr. Azrak is co-founder, director, and a key principal of the recently launched Yalta Capital Management Ltd. His previous experiences include President of Soyuz Kapital a Moscow, Russia, based broker/dealer, which provided investment, corporate finance services as well as liquidity development programs to Russian and Ukrainian companies and was instrumental in bringing to market companies such as Uralsvyazinform, Morion, Nizhnovenergo, and Zavolzhkiy Motor Plant, as well as a Board Member of the Sucres & Denrees Group in Russia.

He was instrumental in the structuring of the Templeton Russian and Eastern European Debt Fund, one of the first fixed income funds for the region.

 He also structured and launched the Eastern Capital Fund, a pioneer investment vehicle for Russian blue chip stocks. He managed the proprietary portfolio of Soyuz Kapital investing in regionally listed Russian and Ukrainian securities.

Mr Azrak has been a pioneer in the structuring of a number of transactions, such as arranging from Vneshtorgbank a $20 million real estate construction facility for the Ducat Center located in the heart of Moscow, As a General Director of Sovfintrade Trade House, Mr. Azrak led the acquisition and divestiture of a controlling stake of Sovfintrade Bank (Moscow), the 50th largest Russian bank whose other shareholders include the energy giant Gazprom. He also worked on the acquisition of a newly privatized company Concern Podolsk for Semi-Tech (parent company to Singer sewing machines) using a debt for equity swap mechanism.

Mr. Azrak studied law and economics at the University of Geneva, Switzerland and speaks fluently French, English, Russian, and Turkish.
